House Catches Fire in Moline

A quick moving fire at a Moline home was quickly put out Friday afternoon.

It started around 3:30 PM in the attic. Firefighters say they had the flames out at the home in the 100 block of 6th Avenue in about 20 minutes.

Crews say everyone living in the home got out in time, and no one was injured. However, the residents won't be able to go back home Friday because of smoke and water damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
