Food Pantry gets big grant

The Friendly house in Davenport has received a $10,000 grant from the Hubble Waterman Foundation. 

The money will be used to provide food for families seeking assistance from the food pantry.

 The Friendly House food pantry is a part of the Churches United Food Pantry network, and is one of the largest serving food pantries in the Iowa Quad Cities.

They currently serve nearly 1,000 people each month.
