Our History

Valley Bank's history of record setting growth and commitment to extraordinary customer service began in 1993 when we became the first bank chartered in Iowa in 25 years.
 
In 20 years we have grown to a 400 million dollar institution with 14 branch and supermarket locations in 12 cities in Iowa and Illinois (Ankeny, Bettendorf, Clinton, Clive, Davenport, Eldridge and Moline and 2 Florida retail locations). We also have a loan production offices in Cedar Falls, Iowa.  
 
Our mortgage division is the Quad Cities market leader and is directly responsible for Valley Bank's overall success and growth. In 2004 we processed over 1,500 loans worth 170 million. Our 70 mortgage division employees are skilled and efficient at processing, underwriting, closing and managing secondary market risk.
