Grant for QC Wild Places

Did you know there are wild places right here in the Quad Cities? You just have to know where to look.

The Community Foundation of the Great River Bend, donated $25,000 to River Action's QC Wild Places Program.

The program, which was started in 2001, is dedicated to preserving natural areas around the QC through service, funding and awareness. All 63 natural areas are within an hour's drive of the Quad Cities the money will be used to build new mountain bike trails, a footbridge and other projects.
