Keep your pets safe in the cold

Even though they have fur coats, the cold can be very dangerous for your pets. 

Always make sure you walk your dog on a leash, especially when it snows.  During a snowstorm, dogs can lose their scent and get lost.

Also, don't cut your dog's hair in the winter.  More hair means more warmth.

Never leave your dog or cat alone in the car as temperatures drop very quickly when the heat's not running.

Always make sure pets have a warm, dry place to sleep.
