Be A Tourist Weekend was big success

Be a Tourist in Your Own Backyard Weekend, was a huge success.

The Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau said there were more than 250 people at the Moline Public Library's event this past weekend.

Thousands visited the John Deer Pavilion and the Quad City Mallards had a record setting weekend with more than 13,000 fans. This is the 12th year the Be a Tourist in Your Own Backyard event has been held in the QC.
