QC inaugural ball to raise money

Quad Citians were out Monday in Davenport celebrating the inauguration, and raising money to help homeless women.

It was the second QC Inaugural Ball, put together by two women in the Quad Cities who wanted to celebrate the communities grass root efforts.

The two organized a ball 4 years ago when President Obama first took office and say they wanted to do it again to celebrate his second term.

All proceeds from the ball are being donated to Winnies Place, a women's homeless shelter here in the Quad Cities.
