In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, QC organizations spent time focusing on our local veterans.
Local Americorp members, along with other organizations held a career workshop on Monday called "What's my mission now?"
The idea is to help veterans transition from military to civilian life.
One veteran who went to the event said he learned some new ways to write his resume that can give him an edge, "The terminology of what employers are looking for. Because I know one thing, which is military training and then to what civilians want, it is quite difficult," said Veteran Robert MacNeill.
