New technology is getting local farmers excited for spring.
Today, hundreds of folks checked out the latest farming equipment at the QCCA Expo Center in Rock Island.
Experts say the equipment is changing constantly and can be very expensive.
So seeing what's out there helps them not only look forward to a new season, but also justify their purchase.
"New technology is happening everyday. You buy a piece of equipment a year later, it could have new technology on it, the GPS, the auto steering, and the auto guide is changing constantly. It's an everyday job keeping up with it," says Scott Roeders, Owns Farm Equipment Business.
If you didn't get a chance to check out the new farm equipment at the Expo, don't worry you still can.
The farm show is going on tomorrow from 9 am to 5 pm.
