Clinton man arrested for burglary

A Clinton, IA man was arrested on Monday for burglary at a local adult bookstore.

The Clinton Police Department responded to an alarm at 18 and Beyond Bookstore on 5th Avenue South in Clinton.

After searching the store, officers found the man hiding inside a wall.

25-year-old Derek Scheper of Clinton was arrested and charged with burglary, criminal mischief and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The incident is still under investigation.
