The nation remembers and celebrates the life of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr tomorrow.
Locally groups are doing their part to make sure his spirit stays alive in the Quad Cities
Memorial services and an awards ceremony will be held Monday morning from 9 to 10:30 at the Martin Luther King Junior Community Center in Rock Island
The theme is "There's still work to be done."
Youth essay and service awards and scholarships will be given and several elementary and junior high students will read their essays as well.
