MLK Celebration at Augustana

It was a musical celebration today at Augustana College in Rock Island

It was all to honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior.

Choirs sang and danced as everyone celebrated his life.

The main message: the power of one is all it takes.

One of the speakers, Reverend Dwight Ford, said it's important to remember all of the good Dr. King did.

Both the Davenport and Rock Island County NAACP chapters helped to put on the event.
