Woman killed by train in DeWitt

A woman is dead after being hit by a train in DeWitt Friday night.

Officials arrived  to the scene off 300th Ave. just after 10 p.m.

The woman had been struck by a West bound Union Pacific train and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The incident is still under investigation.
