It's a phone call most people can't imagine.
But next week quad city students will video chat with astronauts in space.
It's part of NASA's ‘Teaching from Space' program.
The Putnam Museum was chosen as one of six sites in the entire country to get this opportunity.
Two hundred and fifty students in the QC will "skype in" with an astronaut next Friday.
Folks at the Putnam say its an honor to be chosen.
"As a mission based institution who strives to deliver the highest quality and most memorable experience to our community, what a fabulous experience to be one of the 250 kids who can say they talked to someone from space," says Nichole Myles, Vice President of Education, Putnam Museum.
The call will be next Friday at noon.
