Deadly Fire in Carroll County

Police are investigating after a deadly fire in Carroll County.

Police said the fire began early yesterday morning in a home in the 1000th block of Vine Street just outside of Savanna. Police said when they got there they found the body of 82-year-old Martin Hansen inside.

The cause of the fire and the homeowner's death are still under investigation.
