Davenport Police may have leads in two robberies

Davenport police may have solved three crimes with one arrest Thursday.

25 year old Ryane Griffey faces three counts of robbery.

After being arrested Thursday morning, and then admitting to two previous crimes.

Police said Griffey entered the Shell gas station on Harrison and Locust just after 3 AM with a box cutter demanding money.

The suspect fled with cash but was soon tracked down nearby.

He later admitted to robbing the same Shell station back on Christmas Eve as well as the Dollar General Store on East Locust on New Years Eve.
