Knox County has one of highest IL poverty rates

A QCA county has one of the highest poverty rates in Illinois.

A Chicago based research center released a report Tuesday showing in nine Illinois counties at least 1 in 5 people live in poverty. Among them is Knox County with a poverty rate of more than 20%.

A family of four is in poverty if it has an annual income below about $23,021.
