police responded to a stabbing at the Twin Bridges Motor Inn last night.
Ricky Cornett,
Jr is waking up in the Scott County Jail this morning. Charged with second
degree burglary, he first was taken to the hospital after being stabbed.
Cornett
was issued a protection order early yesterday at the twin bridges. After
leaving the motel, he returned just after 7:30PM and broke into a room.
That's
when he got into a fight with another male subject.
That
subject produced a knife and stabbed Cornett in self defense.
Cornett
was charged with burglary and violation of domestic abuse protection order.
