Homicide victim's name released

Dixon Police have released the name of the woman killed Sunday.

Yolanda Sigler was found dead at her home in the 200 block of Lincolnway in Dixon.  Her husband, Brian Sigler is thought to be responsible for her death.

Brian Sigler is in Intensive Care under police watch until he recovers from self-inflicted knife wounds.

Police don't expect to charge Sigler in his wife's death until he recovers and is released from the hospital.

A woman is found dead after a domestic dispute in Dixon Sunday.
 
Police say around 2:30 Sunday afternoon they received a call for a man needing help at his home on 230 Lincolnway.

When they got there, they found a woman dead and the man with life threatening injuries which police say were self-inflicted.


The suspect was taken to the hospital, but no word on his condition.


Police have not released the names of the man or woman until family is notified.
