Businesses write to IL lawmakers

Would legalizing gay marriage be an economic winfall for Illinois? A group of high profile business leaders believe just that.

Sending a letter to lawmakers this week urging they pass the bill.

The group which includes the heads of Navistar International, Johnson Publishing and Morningstar Inc say legalizing same sex marriage would generate between 39 and 72 million dollars of revenue for state businesses
the issue is not likely to come up in Springfield again until next month
