Family Resources needs QC Artwork

QC artists, Family Resources need your help.

They're asking artists to create a piece of artwork that brings awareness to domestic violence or children in crisis.

The artwork will be displayed at the opening doors gala in April at the quad cities waterfront convention center.

The theme of the gala is safe places, hope and new beginnings.

"if there's people in the community who have experienced violence and they just can't express it through their words or bring awareness to it, in any other way, through artwork is a really great way for them to go ahead and share their feelings," says Jenni Venema, Opening Doors Gala Chairperson.

All work must be submitted by April first.
