The man accused of holding his girlfriend and her kids captive for hours is still on the loose. And police need your help tracking him down.

Bryan Sharpe is accused of breaking into his girlfriend's home on 11th Avenue around 6:30 Thursday morning. Police say Sharpe beat and choked her and wouldn't let her or her kids leave.

The girlfriend had recently gotten an emergency restraining order against him. The victim's family came and confronted Sharpe around 9:00 AM.

Police say Sharpe attacked them and hurt one of her kids before running away.

He may be driving a 2003 black Honda Element with the Illinois license plate P452–967.

If you see Sharpe or that vehicle, call police.
