Davenport man pleads guilty to biting stepson

A Davenport man, James Darby has pleaded guilty to biting his 4 year old stepson.

Darby was charged with child endangerment back in October after the child's preschool teacher noticed marks on his arm.

But the child's mother defended Darby, saying he was teaching the boy a lesson.

Darby was slapped with a $625 dollar fine including court costs, and will serve two days in jail for the incident.
