Speed Limit changing for two Davenport Roads?

Drivers could soon be stepping on the gas on two Davenport roads.  

City council members moved forward plans to increase speeds on a stretch of 59th Street and River Drive.  

59th Street between Brady and Tremont would be bumped up from 25 to 30 miles per hour, and River Drive from 4th to Iowa would jump from 35 to 40.

Both measures will be voted on again next week.
