It's the largest fundraiser of the year for The Project of the Quad Cities.

The 20th Annual Red Ribbon Dinner is approaching and the money raised goes to help those with HIV and AIDS in the QC.

The night will be filled with dinner, drinks, and an auction. And with about 400 people expected this year, organizers say the dinner will really help their cause.

"It's about helping those who are infected with the disease," says Wendy Kelly, Executive Director for Project of the Quad Cities. "It helps many to get those tested who might not otherwise get tested."

The dinner is on January 19th at the RiverCenter in Davenport. The event starts at 5:00 PM . Tickets are $70, but if you mention you saw this story, tickets will only be $60. CBS4's Steve Long will serve as the emcee for the event.

You can call The Project of the Quad Cities at 309–762–5433.
