A family is finding somewhere else to sleep Sunday night after flames tore through their home.
Crews were called to East Pleasant Street in Davenport just before 4 Sunday afternoon.
Officials say they rescued 2 dogs from the home before getting a hold on the flames.
No one else was there at the time, and the fire was put out pretty quickly despite the cold temps and icy streets.
The Red Cross is helping the three people who lived there. No word yet on how the fire was started.
