A QC woman lost everything when her house burned down on Christmas day. Now the QC community is helping her start over.
Dozens of folks got together at the eagle's club in davenport to raise money for Nicole Miller.
She and her son lost their home and all their belongings in the fire. now folks in the ac are helping her get her back on her feet.
Her friends say the turnout has been incredible.
"I mean all of these people are friends, some of them I know, some I have no clue who they are, but they've came together, so we're all one big family, it just shows that the Midwest, Davenport, the Quad Cities, we all care for each other," says Tony Baker, organizer and friend.
If you want to help Nicole miller you still can. You can drop off a donation at Bruce's Furniture in downtown Davenport. The owner will match how ever much money they raise.
