The competition wasn't just on the court at the Central versus West game in Davenport, it was also out in the cafeteria.
The Davenport Central Booster Club held it's annual cake auction Friday Night.
Every year, sports teams design cakes, cookies and cupcakes to auction off to the highest bidder along with other prizes.
And what better time to do it than during a double header between two rivals.
"It does help us out a lot with a lot of little things we help teams out when they go to state maybe uniforms but if you go into george Marshall gym you'll see new scoreboards, a big ticket item the boosters was able so all these events all the concession stands they all add up," said Debbie Taylor, Booster Treasurer.
The boosters are hoping to raise $2,000 dollars to go towards athletics at Davenport Central.
