If you park in a handicapped spot and don't need to, get ready to pay the price.
A new Illinois law is cracking down on people who illegally park in handicapped spaces or misuse disability placards. Fines for each offense have gone up and violators can have their license suspended for double the amount of time.
Police have already issued 166 citations since the tougher regulations started being enforced on black Friday.
