Davenport is one step closer to deciding which proposal to go with for its new casino, they're interviewing three developers next week.

There are three proposals right now and each group will have 2 hours to tell the public and the Davenport Community Improvement Corporation why they should gamble on them.

The first proposal is by the Atrium Holding company. They're the current owners of the Radisson in downtown Davenport and are planning to revamp it into a hotel casino.

The second, is Ingenus Management. Their plan is 2 fold with a casino in the downtown area as well as a hotel and casino off I-80 and I-280.

And finally, there's restoration St. Louis. This proposal would create City Square. A hotel and casino that will fill an entire block downtown between Brady and Main.

As the developers get ready to fight it out on Monday, committee members say all of the options are good ones and will blow Rhythm City out of the water. Literally.

"We're still sitting here in Davenport with our 91 product and it was great in 91 but we have to move forward."

The interviews will be starting at 9 am on Monday at River Music Experience in Davenport. They'll be open to the public and there will be a time for Q&A.

The board doesn't expect to have a decision until the end of February.
