"Field of Dreams" Movie Site Sale Completed

If you build it, they will come. That's what the group who purchased the Dyersville farm used in "Field of Dreams" are hoping for.

Go the Distance Baseball closed on its $3.4 million purchase of the property last week.

The group plans to transform the landmark into a 24-field baseball and softball complex.

Construction at the site is expected to begin this spring, with the site opening in 2014.
