With all eyes on the Country's budget, it may be a good time to figure out your budget at home.

I'm going to have a better year in 2013,"said Financial Planner Martin Kurtz, who recommends starting the new year off with a fresh start. He said preparing now for whatever the future may hold by adjusting your household income to focus on paying off credit card debt or unsecured loans. Tips that will keep you grounded, "Every once and a while things get weird like they are right now, but we just need to persevere and all take care of our own responsibilities."
He said that way, issues like the cliff hanger among lawmakers, won't leave you frantically on the verge of your own fiscal cliff.
