Woman rescued from burning SUV

A passerby rescued a Morrison woman from her burning SUV this morning.

The accident happened on Route 78 just north of Bunker Hill Road around 6 AM. Officers said the woman's SUV hit a tree and caught on fire.

A passerby pulled her from the burning vehicle.

The woman was airlifted to the hospital and is in critical condition.
