Silvis hit with water main breaks

While Rock Island is dealing with multiple water main breaks that happened overnight, and Davenport is fixing one from Wednesday afternoon, Silvis is also experiencing problems.

A release from the City of Silvis just in:

12/26/12 The City of Silvis had a water main break at 261 5th Street. Residents whom are affected had a tag placed on the front door giving notice to boil water until further notice. When the boil order is lifted, another tag will be placed on the residents door.

 12/27/2012 The City of Silvis had a water main break at 1130 12th Street. Crew is on the way and if a boil order is issued a tag will be placed on the residents door notifying them of the boil order.
