Car accident sends one man to the hospital

One man was taken to the hospital tonight after two cars collided.

It was just off Waverly Road in Davenport around 4:30 Sunday afternoon.

The hoods of both cars were pretty smashed up.

The driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital but is expected to be ok.

No one else was hurt.

Officers say the snowy roads likely led to the accident.
