A local minister and teacher are helping homeless families find somewhere to live.
The project's called ‘I'll be home for Christmas,' and was started after a local teacher found out one of her students was homeless.
Now, the couple has found an apartment for the student's family to rent, and furniture and supplies to go in it.
Santa and his elves were at the apartment Saturday getting things ready for the Christmas day surprise move in.
"We're just grateful for just everybody that's made donations and we hope to spread the Christmas spirit, particularly this time of year," said Santa Claus.
If you want to contribute to the project, you can make a donation to Bank Orion.
Checks can be made out to ‘I'll be home for Christmas.'
