Some veteran volunteers have been putting years into ringing bells for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign.
Captain Ray is 90-years-old and has been ringing bells for the past 20 years.
Despite a broken hip, surgery and a walker she says she won't stop.
If that's not enough to shock you, she's not even from the
QCA or the Midwest at all.
She lives in Florida and makes her way to this area every year because she says the people are just so amazing.
"If I were to just sit around I'd be climbing the walls. I need to get out and I'm a people person so this is great to meet people," says Captain Ray, a Veteran Volunteer.
Monday is the last day for the kettles.
