Friday morning, Quad Citians honored the innocent children and teachers who died in the Newtown shooting last week. "It's not just an issue of Connecticut, or Colorado or the killings we've had all over the country that we unite as one country for the benefit of all people." Community Activist Gilbert Sierra said.
Quad Citians gathered at St. Anthony's church. The names of the 26 victims of the sandy hook school shooting were read and a bell was rung after each name. Folks in Davenport said it's important for those victims to be remembered because that school could have been anywhere in the country.
