QC Org. gets help battling the bulge

More than two thirds of our population is overweight, and one third is considered obese.  One Quad City organization is getting a boost making sure area kids don't follow this dangerous trend.

The Two Rivers YMCA in Moline was awarded a $20,000 grant from the Amy Helpenstell Foundation to fund the "Youth and Family Energy Zone".  It's an old game room that has been transformed into a family friendly area that focuses on keeping kids active with a climbing wall, racing bikes and other activities.
