Work Continues at Davenport Water Main Break

A water main break from Tuesday continues to cause headaches for Davenport.

The break happened around 3:00 PM Tuesday afternoon near 15th Street and Harrison. A contractor working on a new apartment building hit an abandoned line there.

All four lanes of Harrison were closed, and It took crews hours to fix the break.

Several lanes are still closed as of Wednesday evening as contractors work to install a new sewer line.
