An Iowa man who used a battle ax and knife to kill his mother's boyfriend, is going to prison for the rest of his life.

Bradley Arterburn of Oskaloosa was sentenced Monday.

He was convicted in October of 1st degree murder in the 2011 death of Robert Hank Horovitz of Davenport.

At trial, prosecutors said Arterburn killed Horovitz at his mother's home since Horovitz reminded him of his abusive stepfather.
