A strange twist in the investigation into a body found in a Davenport farm field.
Robby Kohn, 41, was found dead early Saturday morning off Utah Avenue. Police said Kohn was homeless and had just gotten out of jail a few days before officers say his body was discovered by a drunk hunter, who ran over the already dead man.
Because of visible trauma and other circumstances, police said Kohn's body had been there for at least 24 hours and the death is being investigated as a homicide.
"Thank god the guys pick up truck was there and the deputy saw that aspect. I mean he had nothing to do with it or he could have been laying there a longer period of time," said Major Don Schaeffer, Davenport PD.
Davenport police said they're looking at certain suspects and hope to make an arrest soon.
