After School Accident Sends Person to Hospital

One person was sent to the hospital after an accident in the parking lot of Davenport West.

It happened right after school got out Tuesday. An SUV flipped after hitting another car.

Witness Sandi Hansen says she was waiting for her daughter to come out of school when she heard screeching. She says the SUV stopped just inches away from her.

"God was looking over us," Hansen said. "Because he was fine at least when I got out he was talking and alert."

Police are piecing together exactly how the accident happened.
