Truck fire on the side of highway

Flames engulfed a tire truck this morning on the side of I-280 West.

It was just after the Locust exit when the Eastern Iowa Tires truck started burning.

When crews got there employees were trying to save all the tires from the flaming truck.

The fire department was able to take care of the flames pretty quickly.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
