A 9-year-old boy is hit by a car in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Police say the boy was walking with his brother and parents on the way to basketball practice when a driver hit him with his SUV.

A witness says the driver did stop, but said he had to tell his mom and dad and took off and never came back.

The boy suffered only scrapes and bruises
