Skaters still can't take to the ice in Moline.
Center Ice was supposed to open last Saturday, but for the 7th day in a row it didn't.
Crews said they've made some progress in fixing cracks in the ice so now most of it is skateable.
The rink owner said it's been frustrating.
"It's a learning experience it's our first year. We know what we should've done to prevent this from happening and we probably shouldn't have tried to open until the ice was totally done," Owner Larry Rasmilso said.
The owner said they hope to open this Saturday at two.
