Two Davenport residents are under arrest charged with making meth and a routine traffic stop led police to the suspects. Just after 10 Thursday night an Iowa State Trooper pulled a car over on highway 61 in buffalo that's now led them to a much larger drug investigation.
"During that traffic stop the trooper found some evidence of meth making materials." Capt. Dale Sievert from Davenport PD said.
That evidence is what Davenport Police Captain Dale Sievert said led authorities to 36 year old Joseph Terry and Felina Lochner both of Davenport were arrested Friday with meth charges. "It encompasses the manufacturing of meth, the possession with intent to deliver," Captain Sievert said.
Police said the suspects are connected to 2 QC homes that also had meth materials inside. "Just the blister packs of pseudo ephedrine, it's the one pot method that's creating a little bit of a problem for us" Capt. Sievert said. Authorities believe the suspects could be connected to a previous drug investigation.
