Bettendorf woman in hospital after car accident

A Bettendorf woman is in the hospital tonight after driving her car into a ditch.

It happened around 11 this morning on spruce hills drive near eye 74 west.

Police say the 87 year old ran a red light before crashing into the ditch.

The woman is being treated at the hospital,

There's no word on her condition.
