Quad Citians are prepared in case of a nuclear accident.

Today FEMA graded Scott and Clinton counties a perfect one hundred percent on a nuclear drill they did on Wednesday.

The drills are done every two years.

Reps from Exelon say they don't expect to ever have to worry about it, but they are prepared just in case.

"That's a very good performance. We're very happy with that, but certainly there are things we could have done better, things that we've learned and things that we'll incorporate into our process and our procedures before the drill two years from now," says Bill Stoermer, Exelon Generation.

FEMA says drills like this help the community prepare for not only nuclear related issues, but other emergencies as well.
