Big money could be pedalling into the Quad Cities next summer.
The Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau announced Friday that the 2013 BMX National races will be held at the East Moline BMX Speedway.
Around 1,500 riders and 5,000 spectators are expected to attend the event which will run July 19th through the 21st.
That could mean $2.8 million in profits to QC hotels, shops, and restaurants.
Volunteers will be needed to help with concessions, parking, information, and other operations during the event. An online volunteer form will be available soon.
